Fulvio Pierangelini is known for so many things and one of them is his Gambero Rosso (Red Prawn), one of the most famous restaurants in Tuscany, Italy. In fact, with the best Italian chef cooking behind the stove, this restaurant may also be considered the best restaurant in the whole country. It is here that this jovial chef repeatedly stuns people with his amazing culinary skills.
A trip to Tuscany wouldn’t be complete if you don’t’ visit Gambero Rosso. It will be a momentous experience indeed. Every bite will fill you with sublime pleasure. You will not get your fill with just one dinner. You will want to go back for more and more of the same delicious dishes. This famous Italian restaurant did not start as a three Michelin star restaurant. In fact, it was a simple eatery. It first opened its doors to the public in 1980. With his wife as his partner, Fulivio Pierangelini bought that quaint little eatery and then created a world-renowned restaurant. For over 20 years, Chef Pierangelini created his mark in the culinary world with his mind-blowing recipes and masterpieces.
The Chef’s Recipes
Chef Pierangelini’s recipes are quite spectacularly different. They are fairly modern but with an edgier quality. He is one of those chefs who do not stick to classic. He ventures forth into the unknown areas of the world of gastronomy. He does not list his creations. On the contrary, he prefers to anticipate changes and accordingly invents new tastes. The ingredients he uses are of perfect quality. He is very particular about the kind of meats, herbs, seafood that he uses. Everything must pass through his inspection and approval before they can be use. The words that can be used to describe his creations are these – lightness, delicate, texture, balance, and flavors. Indeed, his creations are absolute perfection. With these things, it is not at all difficult to comprehend why he became quite famous and why he is globally well-known.
The Chef
An eccentric chef with a seemingly brusque character, Pierangelini was born in Rome in 1953. He did not start his career as a chef. In fact, he pursued a college degree in Political Science and excelled on it. He first started out as a researcher. It was only after he moved to Tuscany and opened a restaurant with his wife that he discovered his real passion – cooking. As they say, the rest is history. Today, Chef Fulvio Pierangelini is one of the world’s best chefs. He is considered the best chef in Italy by some. He is inarguably the best in Tuscany.

You don’t just eat desserts these days. You can actually drink them now. These kinds of desserts are aptly called drinkable desserts. With more and more people opting for convenient things, it is not surprising that drinkable desserts have become quite popular as well. You will practically find them everywhere – in coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores – you name it! Most food outlets have some sort of drinkable desserts to offer. You could get your desserts prepared right there and then or you could opt for ready-to-drink desserts.
Kinds of Drinkable Desserts
Drinkable desserts actually come in various forms. They are also inspired by various things. There are some desserts that are actually based on real solid desserts. There are some drinkable desserts that you have probably enjoyed but have never really thought of as desserts. Smoothies, for one, are considered desserts. If you have tried Starbucks’ Frappucino and liked it, then you have tried and liked a drinkable dessert. Ice-blended drinks and milkshakes are also desserts.
You’d basically find drinkable desserts served in various forms. Sometimes, these desserts may be served as dry mixes. They may be sweetened, flavored or iced. They may also be served heated. An example of this kind is your favorite chocolate drink. These desserts may also be refrigerated like smoothies or milk shakes. You will also find many drinkable desserts that are bottled or ready to drink.
Preparing Drinkable Desserts
There are many ingredients that can be use to prepare or make drinkable desserts. Many people use raw fruits, but fruits are admittedly difficult to work with, so many opt for other substitutes like fruits powders. Unfortunately, this option can be a tad expensive.
Sweeteners are also commonly use. Of course, the thickness and sweetness of your drinkable desserts depend on your sweetener. There are some sweeteners that work really well. The processed juices of sugar canes as well as corn syrups work really well in giving thick texture and sweetness to drinkable desserts.
In truth, when you speak of desserts, you would also think of chocolates. It doesn’t matter if you are drinking it or eating it. Anything made out of chocolates are delectable, so who can resist a chocolate drink?
These are just some of the basic ingredients used in making drinkable desserts. If you don’t have time to indulge in solid desserts, you would enjoy these desserts. They are nothing new. But if you really want to enjoy your desserts more, you should consider checking out various drinkable desserts recipes to expand your dessert repertoire. You would certainly have fun experimenting with new recipes.

Strangely, the first thing that seems odd when you come across the website Slashdot is not its name. It is only when you put some thought to it do your realize that we have here a website named “http slash slash slashdot dot com”. This clever use of the most common symbols of the World Wide Web leads to high expectations about the site itself.
Thankfully, the site does not disappoint.
Slashdot is a current affairs oriented website with a tilt towards the nerdy side of life. Surfers and members are encouraged to submit links and the same are put up on the site after being evaluated by the editors. Slashdot is yet another site which feels that open source is the way to go. Current news related to technology and all things nerdy are judged with an obvious pro open source tilt.
This site was created in 1997 when weblogs had not captured the imagination of the masses. However, this site was designed in such a way that many find it difficult to believe that it was setup before the whole concept of blogging caught up.
Once the story is posted, the same is open to the opinion and judgment of the readers. They are free to post comments and you can learn a lot about technology and its various aspects by going through the stories and the various comments related to the story.
Slashdot seeks to separate itself from other social networking websites like Digg, Delicious and Youtube when it comes to rating the stories posted. Rather than judging the story as good or bad and voting it up or down, members simply express their opinion about the story by passing comments like “30% insightful, 70% interesting”. The right descriptors can be used to give one’s opinion about the story without actually getting into mud slinging about the tastes and choices of the submitter.
The site takes its duty of moderating the comments very seriously with even anonymous comments posted on the site being moderated to determine whether it matches the high standards of the site.
Since this site is clear about the fact that it focuses on the various current issues related to technology and its various aspects, its list of members includes the who’s who of the technical world. Co founder of Wikipedia, co founder of Apple, Freenet creator, Samba developer, Linux Kernel developer and even a gentleman who is a Physicist and Author can be found on the list of members of Slashdot.
The site is divided into sections to enable people to focus on their areas of interest. Some popular sections on the site include Games, Hardware, Linux, Mobile etc.
The popularity of the website led to the coining of the phrase called ‘slashdot effect’. This effect described a sudden surge in the traffic to a small website due to a link posted in a popular forum like Slashdot. Those who liked the link proceed to click on the same and small websites simply go under when there is such a huge spike in traffic.

In each and everyday of our lives, we are faced with choices to make. These modern times have actually given us so many options, too many sometimes, that we need to choose with every turn we make. Even the water we drink has so many forms today that we have to choose what kind of water to drink, like it matters so much. It could even get irritating at times, because, in line with the previous example, well, we just want to drink!
So now, more than ever, we are pushed to make good decisions in our everyday lives. This ranges from petty ones to serious ones. Even so, some decisions, however petty-looking, could actually cause a cascade of events in our loves with serious and big time consequences. It is thus important how we can come up with the good judgments.
So how do we go about it? First, we need to define the problem or the issue at hand. Does not that remind you of your math problems back at school? The first step too is to know the problem. Some people ending up trying to solve something when in fact it is not problematic. Why mend the glass it is not broken? These people do this unknowingly at times, because they have missed the target altogether. It could be that this is related to the problem but it is not the problem per se.
So we must go to the root. And to get rid of the whole weed, that is the problem and its upshots, we need to uproot it. After defining the issue will we start to come up with ideas on how to go about solving it. As much as possible we should always have options. We should not be left with only one choice, which basically translates to having no choice at all! Here is the part where we have to crack our brains to squeeze out the idea.
As early as this phase, since it is not easy to think up of plans, we can already ask for advices. It is always wise to have someone by your side, to talk with, confide in and inadvertently help you with making this decision. Two head are better than one. More heads are even better! But do not involve too much people into it that it gets too crowded for you to make the decision. If it is your problem, you will have to solve it. If you would have to decide on it with someone, then decide with someone involved, or someone you are certain to be wise, better yet wiser than you.
When you do have the plans A, B, C until how many you could have thought of, this is when the actual decision-making comes in. This could be nerve-wracking and so you need to your composure. The mere fact that you have came up with options to choose from means you are dependable enough to make this decision. Be confident that you can make a good decision.
In so doing, you have to think which one solves the issue the best, an answer that fits the question perfectly. If possible, choose the simple answers. The correct answer most of the time looks too simple, but they turn out to be the right one. If it simple enough, it usually solves the problem faster. But if the situation is too complicated, then you will have to consider not just yourself but the ones involved too. Here, you value system will shine through and it is up to your conscience to see if your decision shall hunt you forever, or it will make all these things over finally. If you want to come up with a good decision, choose one that is good for you and for all.
