It is not hard to find the perfect wine to go with your dish. It is not surprising that Le Amis has managed to secure the 60th spot in the World’s Best Restaurants list. We can only conclude that its head chef, Armin Leitgeb, must be so proud of this.

For the past decade, the name Les Amis has been associated with fine dining. The culinary and management teams make sure that the restaurant will continue to offer exquisite cuisine, outstanding wine selection and exceptional service.

Let’s Get to Know the Chef

Chef Armin Leitgeb joined the staff of Les Amis in October of last year. He brings with him a wealth of experience he has gathered from working in several of the best Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe and United States. Although of Austrian descent, he has managed to capture the flavors of various cuisines and has developed a style of cooking that is unique to him alone.

Like other great chefs, Chef Leitgeb thoroughly enjoys surprising his guests with gastronomic delights. He relishes the reactions he gets out of his guests. He likes experimenting with his creations. He especially loves to prepare dishes using ingredients that are in season. He wants the best quality, so he makes sure that the menu changes regularly or seasonally so that he can take advantage of seasonal produces.

Top chef, Armin Leitgeb draws inspiration from various cuisines, but he is also inspired by her native Austrian cuisine. He constantly revisits the flavors from his childhood every time he would create a dish inspired by Austrian cuisine. One will likely experience a taste of this cuisine in one of the seven-course dishes of Les Amis. Diners can look forward to enjoying the restaurant’s signature dish, the ciabatta wrapped Japanese egg param ham. This is definitely a dish that you should not miss.
