Les Creations de Narisawa has managed to grab the 20th spot. This is an excellent news for a newly started restaurant with only one Michelin star to its name. With a Japanese chef, you would think that the restaurant would be offering Japanese cuisines. In truth, it offers French dishes that are prepared carefully using classical French techniques. Of course this does not mean that Les Creations de Narisawa’s chef is not experimenting with other techniques to draw out the best of every ingredient he uses. This is actually the perfected style of the restaurant’s chef and owner, Yoshihiro Narisawa.

As the Chef

He uses the most appropriate methods, ingredients, and recipes in order to perfect every dish that comes out of his kitchens. He also uses fresh seasonal produce. He prefers organic products as much as possible. He even sourced out some products. The masterpieces of Chef Narisawa and his restaurant have been the best kept secret of Tokyo. Well, it is not a secret now, isn’t it? With it grabbing the 20th spot, it is almost impossible not to notice. The entire culinary world has noticed and the rest of the world will follow suit.

Chef Narisawa knows from a very young age what he was destined to do and he did everything in his power to pursue this dream. He packed his bag when he was 19 years old and went to Europe to learn everything he can from the best masters. He found his way into the kitchens of Paul Bocuse and Joel Robuchon.

Over the years, Chef Narisawa has developed an unconventional approach to cooking. Truth be told, this character is seemingly shared by the best chefs in the world. Like his mentors, he pushes boundaries and he experiments with all sorts of things. He has a penchant for using charcoal and soil when cooking.

As the owner of Les Creations de Narisawa, he makes sure that he provides the best that he can offer his customers. This means outstanding interior and space. His restaurant’s atmosphere can be likened to his cooking. It blends the traditional with the modern. The restaurant is relatively small compared to others, but it is meticulously run by Chef Narisawa and his wife. Anyone will enjoy the perfectly cooked meals and the calming atmosphere that the restaurant offers.
