Recently I was dining with my wife in Singapore at a quiet impressive Japanese restaurant. There was a couple sitting opposite us who for the record had NEVER used a pair of chopsticks in their entire life. Mind you they have been around on this wonderful planet for well over 40 years. They asked the waiter for a knife and a fork.
