Take the Bus

Now, if you are a chef, make sure that you save energy and electricity by turning off electric kitchen equipment when they are not in used. Turn them off when you have to leave. Avoid placing anything in standby. Turn off the lights when you don’t need them.
Cut Back on Paper Consumption
Nowadays, there are so many ways to cut back on paper use. You will certainly help in reducing the number of trees that will be cut by opting to keep records in your computer instead of keeping paper files. You will certainly benefit more with this type of record keeping method. If you can’t avoid using papers, make sure that you recycle those that can still be reprocessed. Do not shred them or throw them away if you don’t have to.
Also, if you are going to purchase printer papers, look for recycled ones. The processing of recycling papers also takes up energy and water. Chemicals are also used when producing them. So look for papers with minimal chlorine bleaching.
