Recipe- Apple Compote

Ingredients
Apple- Peeled and Diced 900 grams
White Sugar 200 grams
Ground Cinnamon 2 grams
Ground Cloves 1 grams
Water 200 ml
Method
Place all ingredients in a pot, bring to the boil, lower the heat and allow to cook uncovered for 30 minutes.
Stir occasionally ensuring that the apples do not stick to the base on the saucepan.
Cook until the apples are becoming soft and the correct consistency has been achieved.
Remove from saucepan, place into a suitable container. Allow to cool on an ice bath and use as required.
