If you have tried out several low-carb diets, you have probably noticed that all these diets promote intake of fresh fruits.  In fact, a fresh-fruit diet is probably the most popular low carb diet.  Indeed, fruits are great sources of vitamins and minerals.  They practically contain all the essential nutrients that your body needs in order to stay fit and healthy.  Nowadays, it is very important that you make fresh fruits a part of your staple diet.  You should always have a slice of fruit in every meal and this includes having fresh fruits for breakfast.

You probably know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  In fact, it is recommended that you make sure that you have a heavy breakfast – a full one. Many people suggest carbohydrates for breakfast, but there are people who are not comfortable with eating too many carbohydrates especially if they are trying to lose weight.

If you are one of them, your other option is to eat fresh fruits for breakfast.  Fruits are packed with essential nutrients that you need in order to get through the day.  You can even snack on them.  You don’t have to worry about going hungry or gaining weight.

Choosing the right fresh fruits for breakfast will help you get the right nutrients that your body needs for the day.  You need to get fruits that are rich in potassium because this nutrient helps in maintaining a healthy nervous system.  You also need to eat fruits that are rich in iron because this helps in maintaining proper oxygen circulation in the body.

Experimenting with Fresh Fruits for Breakfast

You don’t have to content yourself with the same raw fruits daily.  You can always experiment with various fresh fruits for breakfast.  You can try out various recipes.  Fortunately, there are numerous recipes that you would find online.  You can make fruit muffins.  These are very easy to make.  You can pick out your favorite fresh fruits for breakfast and cut them into small pieces and place them in a deep bowl.  Then you need to pour hot water and then drain the water.  Next, you need to add two eggs, sugar and two cups of flour and mix them well.  You can then place the mixture on a tray and bake it for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.  Finally, you can cool your muffins for several minutes and then serve.  It’s as easy as that.  Of course, there are still other recipes you can try.

Fresh fruits for breakfast are the best way to start your day.  You will get all the nutrients you need without necessarily loading in fats and carbohydrates.  If you are losing weight, fresh fruits for breakfast are your best option.

    I think that this is the best way to start ones day, nothing better than fresh fruit, even one its own or with a bowl of cereal and yoghurt, or in smoothie.

  2. I strongly agree with the author of this post. I still remember eating fresh fruits for breakfast when I was still in our province. That is what my grandma was doing there together with my relatives during breakfast. I think I need to practice this too in here. Great tips!
