Top 5 Celebrity Chefs and Cooks in Twitter
Do you like this post?
Twitter has definitely taken celebrities in. It seems like celebrities have jumped in the bandwagon. Even celebrity chefs and cooks have joined Twitter. If you have a Twitter account, you are probably wondering who to follow. Here are the top 5 celebrity chefs and cooks in Twitter.
1.    Jamie Oliver (@jamie_oliver)
Who doesn’t know him? After all, he is a TV celebrity chef. His career in television started with The River Café big break. He appeared in a documentary called Christmas at the River Café. He received several offers from different television producers after the documentary was aired. He accepted the offer of Optomen Television and The Naked Chef was born. The show aired for two seasons in 1998 and 1999, but since it was also aired in the United States, this British chef also captured the fancy of the American audience. He had several shows after the first one, but he is and will always be known as the Naked Chef. But is he worth the follow in Twitter? Yes, definitely. He updates his tweets frequently and he tweets his followers. He seems to have a great sense of humor. His tweets are interesting read.
2.   Paula Deen (@paula_deen)
Her story is the classic American success story. Paula Deen is a best-selling author and a television show host. To her children, she is a super mom as well, but to the culinary world, she is one successful entrepreneur. She has helped create a unique entertainment brand that has managed to establish a strong fan base. But is she worth the follow? Most of her tweets are self-promotional. She rarely engages in conversation with her thousands of followers. She is to follow if you are a huge fan.
3.   Martha Stewart (@marthastewart)
Who doesn’t know the controversial Martha Stewart? With her magazine, Martha Stewart Living, Emmy award TV show, best-selling books, radio show, product lines, syndicated newspaper column and mail-order catalogue, it is definitely hard to miss Martha Stewart. Even if you are not actually a fan, you will hardly miss her. She is America’s ultimate guide to stylish home living. But is she worth the follow? Unless you are a huge fan, her tweets are not something one would generally look forward to. Her tweets are self-promotional and hard to relate to.
4.   Giada De Laurentis (@GdeLaurentis)
With her Emmy award television show, she has become a household name. With her exceptional culinary background and a charming personality to boot, it was inevitable that she would become a celebrity chef. She is a globally famous chef who continues to prove her culinary skill with her presence in the Food Network. She has also released several cookbooks and have established partnerships with several culinary brands. However, is she worth the follow?  Unfortunately, she is not. She rarely tweets. It seems like she just opened a Twitter account because everybody is doing so.
5.   Bobby Flay (@bflay)
This famous chef has captured the fancy of the culinary world. He has accomplished more than most people his age – or twice his age. This redhead knew that he was meant to pursue a culinary career even at a young age. Now, he is one of the most respected chefs in the United States. He is highly recognized for his innovative creations wherein he utilizes indigenous ingredients in order to create his culinary masterpieces. He has published several books and has starred in three national cooking shows in the Food Network. Now, is he worth the follow? If you are a fan, it is. However, do not expect too much. Most of his tweets are self-promotional. Sometimes, his personality would come out as well, but nothing interesting or overly exciting in his updates.
There are still other celebrity chefs and cooks in Twitter. You can check them out yourself. Read through their tweets and see if you find them interesting before you actually follow them. However, if you do not mind following a lot of people – you can just click on Follow.
