Healthy lifestyle should mean that we not only exercise but we should also take into great consideration the food we take in. Snacks are part of a healthy lifestyle and should not be taken for granted. Good nutrients can also be gained during snack time and it can be an extra source for our daily intake of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and cereal grains.

Whole meal bread made into an avocado and cheese sandwich. Avocado is high in vitamin E and C as well as containing a healthy amount of fiber and potassium. Avocado also contains folic acid, an important vitamin for pregnant women. While cheese has high levels of calcium and whole meal bread is high in fiber.
